Every year, during the winter solstice, a door is opened for ghosts to move on. And every year, Lucius Beamount and his ghost wife, Hattie Mae, pass up the opportunity in order to help mankind. Holiday Spirit by Donna Michaels is a cute, sweet, romantic story about trying to be with the one you love over the holiday despite our busy on-the-go world. The characters of the ghosts are funny as they fumble along trying to get the couple together so they will meet their destiny.

I absolutely loved this light, holiday read. I love the unique storyline and I enjoyed the characters antics. I giggled at the mishaps poor Lucius had to go through just to get Jeff to listen to him. You will definitely be entertained with this story. I would love to read more stories by Donna Michaels.

Donna Michaels gives us a cute, funny tale of helpful but, in Lucius’ case a little bumbling, ghosts. His experience with trying to possess Jeff to get to buy the correct tickets is one of the funniest parts of the book. This is a great story of the real spirit-or spirits-of Christmas.
